I have a great love of cycling and in my youth spent a lot of my spare time as a member of differet cycling clubs, representing them in time trialling and road racing both in the UK and abroad.  It's maybe not suprising that my love of cycling and Photography would at some stage become entwined.

The joining of both these passions has led me to travel to many cycling events with my camera over the years covering local, national and international  cycling events for different clients. 

I love capturing and portaying the beauty of cycle sport. It's a sport that can be seen to be just as hard to compete in as it is visually exuberant to watch.

Within the Peloton not all can win. The attitude of glory through suffering is prevalent in the Pelton.  Professional cyclists are made of tough stuff and It's a tough sport where only the truely physically gifted rise to the  top, and yet having the correct physical attributes is only one part of the puzzle to success within this sport.

It is a truely great sport and thankfully enjoys a revival in the UK. This revival is  due mainly to the great results of UK cycling professionals have had on the world stage of cycling over the past few years, it might not be long before we have the first British Tour de France winner in the likes of Bradley Wiggins of the Sky Team. 

Away from the action shots I also like to take the quintessential shots of the growing fan base that support cycle racing this has developed over the year and since the Devil above came on the scene alsort of funny costumes are see on the road side as cycling fans dress up to encourage their cycling heros.

There can be no denying that cycling is my main passion when it comes to sports photography, But that said I am avaialable for other commissions to shoot other sporting events.
